Mission

Almonte District Improvement Club (ADIC) is organized under the NONPROFIT PUBLIC BENEFIT CORPORATION LAW of California for charitable and educational purposes.

The ADIC organization is dedicated to charitable and educational purposes in promoting and contributing to the civic welfare and betterment of the Almonte District community and its environment and to that of Marin County.

Almonte District Improvement Club is further dedicated to the community awareness, providing a place for meetings, where questions of the day may be discussed, and where programs, projects and activities for the betterment of the community may be conducted. 

Since 1948

George Brisley, in 1948, was the moving force in the construction of the Almonte Clubhouse on land donated by Earnest Jackson. Labor and materials were donated by the residents of the area.
